NIFTY® (Non-Invasive Fetal TrisomY test) is a safe, simple, non-invasive
prenatal test (or NIPT), which offers screening for certain genetic conditions from as early as week 10 of pregnancy. Results are available within 10 working days.

Using the latest genetic sequencing technology, NIFTY® has over
>99% accuracy for the three most common trisomy conditions present
at birth, which are Down Syndrome, Edwards Syndrome, and Patau
Syndrome.

The NIFTY test is a non-invasive prenatal test (commonly termed a NIPT) that screens for Down Syndrome and certain other genetic conditions caused by extra or missing genetic information in the baby’s DNA. It’s important to note that all NIPTs like NIFTY®, are screening tests and are not classified as diagnostic. This means that they are not 100% accurate and that ‘false positive’ or ‘false negative’ results can very rarely occur.

NIFTY® offers higher rates of accuracy than traditional screening tests and, unlike invasive procedures such as amniocentesis, poses no miscarriage risk to the mother or baby.

As of January 2020, over 5,000,000 NIFTY® tests have been performed worldwide.

Neo Science provides NIPT/NIFTY Tests all over UAE.

Why get a NIFTY® test?

Available from week 10 of pregnancy, the NIFTY® test gives you an early option to know more about the genetic health of your baby.

Compared to traditional screening tests, the NIFTY® test offers higher accuracy and lower false-positive rates. This means that fewer women will undergo invasive diagnostic procedures such as amniocentesis or chorionic villus sampling which carry a 1-2% risk of miscarriage.

NIFTY® is non-invasive and therefore poses no risk to the mother or baby.

Is the NIFTY® Test Right for Me?

The NIFTY® test is available to any pregnant woman from the 10th week of pregnancy but is particularly suitable for pregnant women who exhibit certain indications which are highlighted in the second photo slide.
